Stan began practising Zen in 2002. His training has included work with Sr. Elaine MacInnes, Nenates Albert, Brian Chisholm, Yamada Ryoun and Dragan Petrovic. In December 2022, he was authorized by Dragan Petrovic to teach within the Northern Lights Sangha tradition.
Stan now teaches independently. His approach remains grounded in sustained sitting, close attention to everyday experience and the direct investigation at the heart of Zen practice.
